Our Story

History of CORNERSTONE

More Than 100 years ago, the Gamble family had a dream and homesteaded on property immediately to the west of Muir Lake. This property was chosen for the availability of both the adjacent water and the abundance of trees for construction.

When starting anew in Canada, the Gamble family was conservative in their farming approach, utilizing good stewardship practices. This stewardship continued through four generations, more than 100 years.

Like the Gamble Homesteaders, and with the present family blessing, this development encompasses historical characteristics while enhancing up-to-date environmental benefits. These enhancements will include recommended sustainability energy sources, such as solar power and geothermal systems.
